I’m totally stoked to tell you about the Christmas story I never actually intended to write. Yes, you read that right. I hadn’t planned to write any Christmas stories, but this story came to me late one night and wouldn’t leave me alone. It had to be written, or I’d never have gotten any sleep again. It ended up being the first novella in a 3-book series and my own twist on a time-honored classic theme, with each illustrating unexpected, often humorous ways the Lord works in our lives.

In The Christmas Trolls, Peter Reynolds and Rosie Ellison have been best friends pretty much since diapers. They’ve never had a romantic notion between them. Rosie loves Christmas, though her celebration of it leaves a lot to be desired, as Peter suddenly discovers. He decides to fix it, not counting on the twist the Lord has waiting at the town Christmas party, in the shape of two mischievous children.
Rosie’s struggle spoke directly to my own heart, and Peter proved to be the perfect match for her, even if neither of them knew it at first.
